RN – Labor & Delivery | Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE

• Contract Type: Travel / Local (within 50 miles)
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; no exceptions
• License Required: Active Delaware or Compact RN license in hand
• Shift: 12-hour Nights
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: No call required
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Holiday Requirement: Yes
• Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within appropriate acuity
• Interview Process: Voice Advantage Interview required, followed by Nurse Manager screening/interview; VA Auto Offer process applies.

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 21–30
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 based on patient acuity
• Charting System: Cerner, with conversion to Epic in progress
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue scrubs provided
• Float Areas: Antenatal, High Risk OB, OB Triage, and Postpartum

Submission Requirements

• Active DE or Compact RN license in hand
• RN license number and expiration date
• List of all certifications with expiration dates
• All RTO submitted at the time of initial submission; requests made after submission will not be considered or approved
