**Job Description:**
- **Unit Overview:**
- Experience a dynamic work environment with 9 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) beds and 4 additional beds for triage and outpatient testing.
- Be part of a passionate team of 43 dedicated staff members.
- **Staffing Structure:**
- Collaborate with 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator or Charge RN, 4-5 RNs, 1 Meal Break RN, an OB Tech, and a Unit Assistant during the day and night shifts.
- **Patient Ratios:**
- Provide exceptional care with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3.
- **Equipment Utilized:**
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including hospital beds, GE Novii, wired fetal monitors, and OR equipment.
- **EMR System:**
- Utilize CPN/Meditech for electronic medical records.
- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- Excellent Critical Thinking Skills
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of fetal monitoring experience
- Experience as a C-Section Circulator and in Post CS recovery
- Proficient in performing vaginal exams
- Care of laboring patients, including C-Section and Vaginal delivery and recovery
- Experience with high-risk antepartum patients, including Gestational Hypertension and Gestational Diabetes
- Ability to handle Obstetrical Emergencies like Ob Hemorrhage
- Competent care of newborns within the first hour of life, including breastfeeding and initial latch
- Strong customer service skills
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Scrub experience
- NCC certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (Ip-Ob) or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- **Typical Procedures:**
- Labor and Delivery Management, including vaginal exams
- Outpatient Testing: Non-Stress Tests (NST), Contraction Stress Tests (CST), Bio-Physical Profiles (BPP)
- Obstetrical Triage, Emergency Department (OBED), and Medical Screening Examination (MSE)
- Versions and Cervical Cerclage procedures
- Office Prolotherapy Injections
