Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Circulating experience required
- High-Risk experience required
- Experience at a high-volume delivery center with 200-300 deliveries per month required
- High acuity experience required
License:
- Active nursing license required
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Certification for fetal monitoring from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
- Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Must-Have:
- Must be comfortable floating to postpartum 1-2 shifts a week
- Work history must reflect 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience
- Skills Checklist must be specific to Labor and Delivery
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or chief nursing officer within the past 24 months required
- Driver's license required
- All candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
Description:
The Registered Nurse provides professional and clinical knowledge in the management of care to patients.
The nurse is a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing essential skills in patient care.
Candidates may be required to float within the same discipline across different units.
Local candidates are not allowable; all candidates must meet distance requirements.
The position involves working in a dynamic environment with the responsibility of delivering safe, high-quality care.
Every third weekend will be required.
Experience in high-risk scenarios is essential for this role.
The work environment requires adaptability and comfort in floating to different units as needed.
