**Exciting Opportunity for RN - Labor and Delivery (Nights)**

- **Position Type:** Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery
- **Shift:** Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Patient Population:**
- Deliveries: Assist in the miracle of childbirth
- Circulating C-sections: Engage in essential surgical procedures
- Antepartum patients: Provide care and support before labor
- Newborns: Conduct initial newborn assessments
- **Licenses and Certifications Required:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- RN License in the state of employment or compact
- Current certification from one of the following:
- AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor
- AWHONN Instructor Trainer
- NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
- **Work Environment:**
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- On Call Requirement: No call
- Floating Requirement: No floating
- Nurse/Patient Ratio per AWHONN standards:
- 1:1 on Pitocin for induction or augmentation
- 1:2 for cervical ripening (Cytotec or low dose Pitocin)
- 1:2-3 Antepartum (depending on acuity)
- 1:2-3 Triage
- 1:1 Immediate postpartum (2 hours post-birth for mother & baby)
- **Dress Code:** Navy blue or pink scrubs
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year
