Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. The RN will be required to provide couplet care for mothers and newborns. Experience in high risk and OB Triage is essential, as OB Triage is part of the unit. A high volume experience is necessary, with an expected workload of approximately 350 births per month. FHM qualifications must be at the intermediate level or higher; NCC_EFM is also accepted. Mandatory call is not required, but travelers may be down staffed up to 3 times during the contract. In such instances, the traveler will be put on call and expected to report within a 45-minute window. Time off requests must be approved at the time of the job offer, with no post-confirmation approvals allowed.
