Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall nursing care plan for Labor and Delivery patients from admission through discharge, ensuring competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care
  • Assure patient safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection while performing disease prevention and restorative measures
  • Respond to medical and environmental emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Apply the principles of the nursing process within established Patient Care Services policies and procedures
  • Float to Antepartum unit as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Valid California RN License (must be verifiable via Nursys, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
  • BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
  • ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
  • NRP certification required (AHA or ARC only)
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring - AWHONN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience floating to Antepartum settings
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven travel contract environments and onboarding processes
