Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and identify expected outcomes
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using critical thinking and independent clinical judgment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver care in a safe and supportive environment
- Coordinate care delivery, delegate appropriately, and supervise assigned nursing staff across various levels
- Provide health education to patients and families, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe environment and promote health throughout all stages of the nursing process
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor required
- Minimum of two years of recent Labor and Delivery or relevant clinical experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
- Familiarity with Magnet-designated hospital environments and associated nursing standards
