Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend expected
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery setting, including high-risk antepartum and triage
- Circulate in the OR as needed for obstetric procedures
- Perform fetal monitoring at an intermediate or advanced level
- Deliver newborn and infant care in accordance with facility protocols
- Float to postpartum unit when operationally needed
- Document and manage patient records using Epic and CPN/QS systems
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience; most recent experience must be within the last 6 months
- Experience in a hospital setting with a minimum of 150 births per month
- Valid California RN State License (Nursys verification required, uploaded within the last 2 weeks)
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- NRP certification required (AHA or ARC only)
- Fetal Monitoring certification at minimum AWHONN Beginner level (Intermediate or Advanced accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome; 50-mile radius rule applies
Preferred Experience / Skills- Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- Prior experience with high-risk antepartum patient populations
- Familiarity with Epic EMR in an obstetrics setting
