Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours, with more hours possible Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required - AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required - AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required Must-Have: - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
