Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
The role requires candidates to have at least two years of experience in the L&D specialty.
Experience in high-risk deliveries is mandatory.
Candidates should be skilled in immediate newborn care.
Preferred qualifications include circulating experience.
Typical procedures performed in this unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hysterectomy.
The ideal candidate should be outgoing, friendly, and adaptable.
Patient ratios in this unit are typically 1:1 or 1:2.
Equipment utilized includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
Weekend availability may be required upon approval.
