Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina
Start Date: October 8, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or Night Shift available. Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2. Weekends and on-call not required but available upon approval.

- 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit within a premier 815-bed flagship hospital system
- Work with a collaborative team including Charge Nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and fellow RNs
- High-acuity caseload including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and cesarean hysterectomy procedures
- Modern technology environment utilizing Cerner EMR, Fetal Link, Baxter Pumps, and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
- Part of a facility recognized as one of America's Top 50 Hospitals and recipient of Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade "A"
- Magnet-designated facility demonstrating excellence in nursing care and professional practice
Requirements:
- Active RN license eligible for North Carolina
- Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- Current certifications: NRP, BLS or ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Circulating experience preferred
