Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36-48 hours/week | Shift times 6:15 PM - 5:45 AM
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and appropriate interventions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to promote patient health and safety
- Provide coordinated nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients; Postpartum experience is a plus
- Support Level II Nursery/NICU patient care as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care
- Participate in discharge planning and delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Minimum two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Level II Nursery/NICU experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Postpartum nursing experience
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring competency
- Prior acute care facility experience
