TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214!

Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS and NRP required Must-Have: Minimum 1 year of current acute care Postpartum experience BLS & NRP certifications Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The unit has 29 beds and a staff of 20. On day shift, there is 1 charge nurse and 3-4 RNs. On night shift, there is 1 charge nurse and 2-3 RNs. Patient ratios are typically between 4-6:1. Equipment includes Welch Allen vitals machines and CPN monitors. Electronic Medical Record used is Meditech/CPN. Preferred candidates will have OB experience, Med-surg experience, or GYN experience. Typical procedures performed on this unit include post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, and high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization. Nurses will also manage fetal monitoring and care for GYN oncology post-operative patients. Experience in women’s health med-surg and post-partum NICU cases is beneficial. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay busy are important personality traits for this position. Candidates must adhere to established standards of behavior.
