Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within a Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) setting
  • Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring techniques
  • Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
  • Float within the LDR unit as needed
  • Participate in weekend and holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
  • Active Minnesota RN license
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • EFM certification - must hold two of the following levels: Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced (e.g., Basic + Intermediate, Basic + Advanced, or Intermediate + Advanced)
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (LDR) experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Must be willing to float within the LDR unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with high-acuity labor and delivery patient populations
  • Familiarity with LDR workflows and multidisciplinary care team collaboration
