Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio for days and nights; 36-hour orientation provided; flexibility to float to antepartum and other units as needed
Highlights:
- High-volume Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
- Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
- Parking permits available on-site with multiple options to fit your needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- NCC C-EFM certification acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts and comprehensive L&D skills required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Two professional references required: one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
