Job TitleRN - Labor and Delivery Director

Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of a Labor and Delivery unit consisting of 3 Labor Suites and 7 Mother/Baby rooms
- Lead and manage a team of 14 RNs, 3 LPNs, and 2 Nurse Techs
- Ensure high-quality patient care standards are maintained across the unit
- Provide clinical leadership and support to staff in Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby settings
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements relevant to the unit
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a staff RN
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Director-level role
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
- STABLE certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience managing combined Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby units
- Strong background in staff development and team leadership within a clinical setting
