Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure, making sound independent clinical decisions
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to revise plans as needed
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while fostering teamwork and a culture of safety
• Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement activities in alignment with practice governance standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification required
