This role incorporates the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process. The nurse assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking skills. Integration of relevant assessment and intervention skills is essential in delivering nursing care. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team is necessary for developing, implementing, and evaluating the care plan.
