Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday). No on-call requirements. No floating. One pre-approved time off period available. Holiday coverage required for at least 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day).
Highlights
- High-volume regional transfer center averaging 12-15 deliveries daily and approximately 5,000 deliveries annually
- Patient ratio of 1:2 in a 21-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 8-bed triage, 3 operating rooms, and 3-bay PACU
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Level 3 NICU on-site serving as a high-risk obstetrical center
- Scrubs provided; modules completed during orientation
- Exposure to diverse procedures including cesarean sections, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclages, and D&E procedures
Requirements
- Active and valid Pennsylvania RN license or compact state license
- BSN degree required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with previous travel experience
- Certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS (current and valid)
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearance requirements
