Description:
Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information and reports findings to the physician.
Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently, and with technical skill.
Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage.
Identifies patient learning needs and provides education.
Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation.
Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows the nurse practice act.
