Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) – Alaska
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 13-week assignment. On-call requirements include 2 shifts per four-week schedule. Weekend requirements include approximately 2 weekends per month, variable based on staffing needs.
Highlights:
- Work in a 7-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with patient ratios of 1:3, variable by census and acuity
- Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 Scrub Tech per shift
- Procedures include inductions, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C, cerclage, versions, bilateral tubal ligations, triage, NSTs, OB injections, and OP infusions
- Epic and CPN Connect EMR systems; equipment includes GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vacuum, and Koala IUPC
- Level II NICU onsite with pediatric hospitalists for collaborative care
- May float to Mother-Baby unit as needed
Requirements:
- Permanent Alaska RN license required for submission
- OR circulator experience required
- Labor and delivery experience required
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification required
- NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams (SVE) and place IUPC and FSE preferred
- Experience as stork nurse and transitioning baby at delivery preferred
