Job Description:
We are seeking experienced L&D RNs for a busy Birthing Center/Mother Baby unit (13 L&D beds, 2 OR suites, 2 triage beds, 14 postpartum beds) averaging 170-190 births/month on a 13-week travel contract. Candidates must have LDRP experience and be comfortable attending deliveries independently, circulating in C-sections, and assisting with catching and transitioning babies. RNs will titrate drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin, and use the Centricity-Perinatal EFM system and EPIC charting. The unit follows AWHONN guidelines (1:2 for L&D, 1:3-4 for couplets) and manages patients 32+ weeks, including high-risk, preeclampsia, diabetic, and psych/social cases. No floating outside the department, though travelers must be comfortable functioning in both Mother Baby and Postpartum.
