Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role involves working in an LDRP unit where nurses manage everything from labor and delivery to postpartum care. It's a dynamic environment that requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt quickly.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Triage obstetrical patients and provide labor and delivery support
- Manage use of EFM, central lines, and insulin drips
- Circulate and recover C-sections, scrub for C-sections when necessary
- Conduct NSTs, reflex checks, edema assessments, and sterile vaginal exams
- Interpret dysrhythmias, utilize internal and external fetal monitoring
- Administer blood products and start/maintain IVs
- Provide couplet care, postpartum hemorrhage management, and patient education
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Valid NY nursing license
- BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
- 2+ years of experience in LDRP or similar environment
- Experience with community hospital settings
- Familiarity with Allscripts charting system preferred
