Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Triage of obstetrical patients
• Use of External Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Circulate and recover for C-section procedures
• Administer and monitor magnesium sulfate therapy
• Assist with vaginal delivery and conduct newborn assessments
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide breastfeeding support and perform postpartum care
• Maintain and insert Foley catheters
• Administer vaccines and manage infant identification and care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Must have active NY License
• 2+ years of labor and delivery experience
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
• Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred
• Required community hospital experience
