# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery – Alaska**Start Date:** August 24, 2026 **Location:** Anchorage, Alaska **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment. Weekends scheduled as needed to meet unit requirements. On-call available but not required.**Highlights:** - 7-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit following AWHONN acuity-based staffing ratios- Night shift staffing consists of 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech minimum- Comprehensive case mix including induction of labor, vaginal delivery, C-sections, tubal ligation, labor triage, antepartum care, NST, and newborn resuscitation- EPIC EMR system with GE Centricity Perinatal equipment- Level 2 NICU facility serving 32+ weeks gestation and 1500g+ newborns- Royal blue scrubs provided**Requirements:** - Active RN license- Minimum 1 year Labor and Delivery experience required- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification (required)- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications- Labor triage experience- OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair)- Newborn resuscitation skills for low-risk deliveries- Preferred: IUPC/FSE placement experience and familiarity with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement assistance**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive LDRP environment where you'll utilize your full scope of Labor and Delivery skills while being part of a collaborative team.
