- Candidates must have experience in high-risk perinatal care.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in facilities that handle 200+ deliveries, but those with experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries will be considered.
- All required certifications are hard stop requirements.
Description:
Registered Nurse will work in Labor and Delivery.
The unit provides comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU.
The unit consists of 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds.
There are also 3 operating rooms and 2 PACU.
The goal is to maintain a staffing ratio of 1:1 in labor, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support.
Antepartum staffing will be 1:2-3.
Triage is staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift.
The unit also includes surgical technicians, CNAs, delivering providers, CRNAs, and Health Unit Coordinators.
Candidates will be required to float as necessary.
Weekend work is required.
Call is not required.
Candidates must be flexible with RTO.
The facility handles high-risk perinatal care and averages 200-300 deliveries per month.
Must possess the skills necessary for the administration of medications, assisted deliveries, and neonatal assessments.
Clinical competencies are expected in labor management, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care.
References are required covering the last 3 years of work experience.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed.
