# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery – Texas
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week seasonal contract, night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, no call requirements

- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 ensuring optimal patient care

- Advanced fetal monitoring equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, and Toco
- Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation

Requirements:- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Competencies required: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exam (SVE), and C-section circulation
- Experience with spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, cesarean sections, and TOLAC procedures
- Internal monitor placement competency preferred
