Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery – Texas
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week seasonal contract; 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); rotating weekends; no call requirements
Highlights:
- High-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit with 32 beds and experienced team of 150+ staff members
- Patient ratio of 1:2 couplet or 1:1 depending on acuity
- Exposure to diverse case mix including SVD, C-sections, TOLAC, and cerclage procedures
- State-of-the-art equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE monitors, and more
- Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Supportive environment with dedicated charge and co-charge nurses on every shift
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Demonstrated competency in EFM, SVE, and C-Section circulating
- Experience with internal monitor placement preferred
- Previous HCA experience or assignments a plus
