Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Labor and Delivery unit with an average of approximately 112 deliveries per month
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, supporting safe delivery outcomes in a high-variability census environment
• Participate in mandatory on-call requirements of up to 20 hours within a 6-week block, with a minimum 2-hour call-back obligation
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC (required)
• Advanced NRP certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of OB experience with demonstrated Labor and Delivery competency
• Compliance with facility vaccination and masking policy is mandatory - travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times while on unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR strongly preferred
• Familiarity with postpartum care in addition to Labor and Delivery
