The position requires two years of labor and delivery experience. Weekend shifts are required based on unit needs, typically every other weekend (subject to change). On-call requirements include one shift every six weeks. Travelers may be required to float to similar units as needed. Total staffed beds in the facility are 22. The charting system used is Epic. Staffing ratios in the labor setting are 1:2 and 3:4 in postpartum care. Local rate applies if the traveler resides within a specified distance from the facility. Additional skills required include administration of blood products, assistance with high-risk deliveries, and newborn care. Patient age groups include neonates and adults. Interdisciplinary support is available through various services. Modules are required to be completed within the first week of the assignment. Travel requirements include a willingness to float to regional units within the service line. Additional responsibilities include triaging obstetrical patients and providing maternal care as needed. Emergency response involvement may be required during the assignment. The number of weekend shifts per contract will be determined based on scheduling needs. Ten days of time off are approved during the contract period, excluding specified timeframes. Candidates who have worked within the organization previously may be subject to specific eligibility requirements.
