Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,527 per week in Salem, MA

Provide direct nursing care to patients on a 25-bed Labor & Delivery and Postpartum unit encompassing L&D, PP, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 Recovery Rooms, and 2 ANU rooms. Manage patient assignments in accordance with unit ratios: L&D 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, Magnesium drip, or epidural patients; Postpartum 1:3-4.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on a 25-bed Labor & Delivery and Postpartum unit encompassing L&D, PP, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 Recovery Rooms, and 2 ANU rooms
• Manage patient assignments in accordance with unit ratios: L&D 1:2-3 for evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, Magnesium drip, or epidural patients; Postpartum 1:3-4
• Perform circulating duties in the OR as required
• Provide newborn care within the nursery and postpartum setting
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Support an average daily census of 15-25 mothers, babies, and laboring patients across the unit

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum RN experience
• Current Massachusetts RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification - required every 2 years for L&D
• Ability to rotate between day, evening, and night shifts, including every other weekend and 1 night of call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AHA ACLS certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Proficiency across multiple care areas including L&D, Postpartum, OR circulating, and Newborn care
