# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – TexasStart Date: June 8, 2026

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, night shift, rotating weekends, 13-week contract, no call requirementsHighlights:- 8-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios- Work with a collaborative team of 25 nursing professionals including dedicated charge nurses- EMR system: Meditech/CPN for streamlined documentation- Advanced equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound technology- Typical procedures include spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC- Opportunities for permanent placement availableRequirements:- Active Texas RN license (or compact state license)- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required- 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery- Competencies required: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exam (SVE), and C-section circulation- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skillsPreferred Qualifications:- Internal monitor placement competency- Experience in high-volume, Level IV Labor and Delivery units- Previous experience with HCA facilitiesWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team committed to providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care in a supportive, professional environment.
