# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Texas
Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 13-week contract, no call requirements
Highlights:- 32-bed Level IV high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with experienced team of 150 staff members
- Patient ratio of 1:2, allowing for focused, quality patient care
- Modern equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, and ultrasound technology
- EMR system: Meditech
- Comprehensive case mix including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
- Opportunity to work with advanced monitoring techniques including internal fetal monitoring placement
Requirements:- Active RN license in Texas
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
- Competencies in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exam (SVE), and C-section circulation
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Previous experience in Level IV high-volume units preferred
- Internal monitor placement competency preferred
