Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Schedule: 13-week assignment with block scheduling consideration available. Every third weekend required (Friday/Saturday nights). No on-call requirements. Holiday commitment includes at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day). Patient ratio of 1:2. Scrubs provided.
Highlights:
- High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit serving as a regional transfer center with Level 3 NICU support
- Approximately 5,000 deliveries annually with an average of 12-15 deliveries per day
- State-of-the-art 21-bed Labor & Delivery unit featuring 8-bed triage, 3 operating rooms, and 3-bay PACU
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- No floating required; focused assignment in a specialized maternal-child health environment
- Exposure to advanced procedures including cesarean sections, postpartum tubal ligations, cervical cerclages, and D&E for postpartum hemorrhages
Requirements:
- Active state RN license required at time of application
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS (required)
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Patient ratio experience of 1:2 preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance requirements
- Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
