Previous travel experience preferred. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required. Must-Have: 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience. Prior travel experience preferred. Certifications in Advanced AWHONN and NRP. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Shifts will be rotating on various days of the week. The nurse will be required to work weekends as needed by the unit. The role involves floating between units as required. The unit specializes in women's and infants' care, featuring 19 rooms. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:2. Charting will be done using the Epic system. Travelers may be required to float to meet facility needs within the metro region. The position entails assisting with various labor and delivery procedures and patient care responsibilities. The candidate will participate in educational activities and maintain competency in required skills. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; flu vaccine policy is currently unknown.
