Description:
The position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit.
The unit has 16 beds and approximately 120 staff members.
Staff includes charge nurses, patient care technicians, certified surgical techs, and registered nurses.
Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2.
Common types of equipment include Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
Typical procedures performed in this unit include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst.
The ideal candidate will possess an outgoing and friendly personality.
Adaptability is also key for this role.
Candidates without the required skills will not be considered.
Preference will be given to those with circulating experience.
Availability for weekends and on-call shifts may be required upon approval.
