Must have certifications as specified. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Candidates will be working in a facility that offers comprehensive maternity services and neonatal care. Experience in high-risk perinatal care is required. The unit has a capacity of 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds. Nurses will be responsible for a 1:1 patient ratio in labor and a 1:3 couplet ratio in postpartum care. Triage will be staffed with skilled registered nurses. There will be a requirement to float to postpartum as needed. Weekend shifts will be required, and the ability to support patients with high-risk needs is essential. Candidates should have skills in various areas, including administration of medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and providing education to parents.
