Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Evening (15:00) or Night (03:00) starts | Weekends every other | On-call required if shift is cancelled | 48-hour weeks may be available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting with expected patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:3
- Manage and support High Risk OB patients as a core component of the role
- Float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units based on unit needs
- Adapt to shift start times of 3:00 AM/3:00 PM or 11:00 AM/11:00 PM, with advance notice provided for schedule changes
- Document patient care using the Epic electronic health records system
- Float to sister facilities within the regional network as needed based on staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in High Risk Antepartum and Postpartum care settings
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated flexibility across units and facilities
- Familiarity with Epic charting in an acute care hospital environment
