Schedule: 13-week seasonal contract, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends, no call requirementsHighlights:

• 32-bed Level IV Labor and Delivery unit with high patient volume and diverse case mix
• 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios ensuring quality care
• Experience with spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
• Meditech EMR system with advanced fetal monitoring technology including Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow
• Supportive team environment with 150 staff members including charge nurses and co-charge nurses on every shift
• No call requirements with structured rotating weekend schedule

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state licensure
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification
• Competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exams (SVE), and C-section circulation
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Experience in high-volume Level IV units strongly preferred
