**Key Responsibilities:**
- Hold shift accountability for comprehensive care in:
- Antepartum
- Intrapartum
- Immediate postpartum
- Neonatal phases
- Utilize the Nursing Process in alignment with:
- State Nurse Practice Act
- Hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment to:
- Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care
- Maintain clinical competencies through:
- Ongoing professional education
- Delegate patient care priorities effectively based on:
- Education and experience of available staff
- Provide guidance and supervision to assigned personnel in delivering high-quality care.
**Qualifications:**
- Current NM RN Licensure
- Valid BLS, ACLS & NRP Certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
**General Comments:**
- This position is a contractor replacement, needed to fill an essential role as we continue to deliver outstanding patient care.
