Job Opportunity – RN Labor and Delivery – Austin, Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026**Location:** Austin, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required; No call required**Highlights:**- 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 5 Antepartum beds, 4 OBED, and 3 Operating Rooms- High-risk OB focus with patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 based on acuity- Maternal Designation Level III and Neonatal Level II facility with Level II trauma services- Electronic Medical Record: CPN and Meditech- Self-scheduling model with collaborative team approach- Joint Commission accredited Women's Services**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Texas (or eligible for licensure)- Minimum 3 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required- Current ACLS, NRP, BLS, and CPI certifications- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required- Experience with high-risk OB including massive transfusion protocols preferred- Cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, twin deliveries, D&C, D&E, and emergency C-hysterectomy experience**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly engaged, team-oriented Labor & Delivery unit that specializes in high-risk obstetrics including complex cases such as placenta accreta spectrum disorders and massive transfusion protocols.
