Job Opportunity – LDRP Registered Nurse – Montana

Start Date: November 2026
Location: Montana
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, weekends equally distributed among staff, minimal call requirement (maximum once per pay period with 30-minute callback time), 48-hour weeks approved

  • Comprehensive LDRP role in a 22-bed critical access hospital covering triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity and patient needs
  • Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
  • 24-hour orientation period with reduced non-billable orientation hours
  • Wireless fetal monitoring and modern equipment including JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage management
  • Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required – seasoned travelers only
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC (preferred), STABLE (preferred)
  • Demonstrated skills in labor and delivery, LDRP, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exams, and circulating for cesarean sections
  • Must commit to working at least one winter holiday pair (Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas/Christmas Eve, or New Year's/New Year's Eve)
  • Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
