Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patient populations in a high-volume, complex environment
- Manage a 1:1 patient ratio within an extreme high-risk Level 3 Perinatal center where the majority of patients present with complex, high-risk conditions
- Support approximately 150 births per month, including participation in C-sections, BTLs, and postpartum D&Cs performed in on-unit operating rooms
- Serve as a secondary L&D RN ("baby catcher") for well, non-compromised newborns as assigned
- Provide outpatient services coverage when the clinic is closed, as needed
- Float within the hospital as required; floating to sister hospitals is not required
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Must complete OBIX modules (approximately 2 additional non-billable hours) prior to start
- Weekend availability required

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-risk or Level 3 Perinatal center setting
- Familiarity with Level 4 NICU collaboration and regional perinatal care workflows
- Prior experience supporting surgical obstetric procedures (C-sections, BTLs, D&Cs)
