**Join Our Exceptional Labor and Delivery Team!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position**: CONTRACT - RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY
- **Duration**: 13 Weeks
- **Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Call Requirements**: No on-call required
- **Weekends**: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
**Unit Highlights:**
- **Designated Level 4 Maternal Center**: Care for the most complex patients at any stage of gestation.
- **Capacity**: 22 beds with 16 labor beds available.
- **Staffing**: Approx. 100 dedicated staff members, including RNs and support personnel.
- **Patient Ratios**: 1:2, 1:1 for optimal care.
**Daily Staff Composition**:
- **Day Shift**:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- Minimum of 2 Surgical Techs
- 1 Unit Clerk
- Additional RNs based on census (typically 10 staff during the week and 7 on weekends)
- **Night Shift**:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- Minimum of 2 Surgical Techs
- 1 Unit Clerk
- Additional RNs based on census (typically 9 staff during the week and 7 on weekends)
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Must have experience:
- Caring for high-risk maternal patients
- Circulating in an Operating Room and triage
- Preferred:
- Greater than 5 years of experience
**Common Procedures**:
- Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries
- Tubal ligations
- Cerclage placement and removal
- D&C
- C-hyst and PASD cases
