Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 Year of Labor and Delivery Required, Previous Travel Experience Preferred License: Current RN License Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience NRP Certification AHA BLS Certification ACLS Certification Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The position requires 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts on various days of the week. Weekend shifts are required as per unit needs. This role requires the nurse to float within the Women's and Infant Unit as needed. The nurse will work in a unit with 19 rooms and maintain a patient ratio of 1:2. The ideal candidate should have experience in charting with Epic. The nurse will assist with a variety of tasks, including labor support, delivery, and postpartum care. Additional skills include administration of blood products, IV management, and fetal monitoring. Candidates should have experience with high-risk deliveries and postpartum hemorrhage scenarios. Professional development and ongoing training are encouraged. All facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be committed to providing high-quality patient care and support for new families.
