Experience in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit with high-risk OB management.
Description:
The registered nurse will work in a Labor and Delivery unit.
This position requires circulation in the operating room and the ability to place internal monitors.
OB triage experience is necessary.
The nurse will manage laboring patients as well as high-risk obstetric cases.
The unit averages 150 births per month.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are expected to be 1:2.
Responsibilities include the administration of medications, assessment of fetal heart rates, and assisting with deliveries.
The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Candidates should possess skills in managing antepartum and postpartum care, as well as newborn assessments.
