Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – South Carolina
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Aiken, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, night shift. This position requires candidates to reside at least 100 miles from the facility location.
Highlights:
- Care for females of childbearing years, including patients 17+ weeks gestation, laboring mothers, and scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions
- Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Work with standard Labor & Delivery equipment including fetal monitors, Cerner EMR, and Fetalink documentation systems
- Handle triage cases and provide comprehensive perinatal nursing care in a dynamic unit environment
- Contract assignment with competitive travel nursing benefits
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (BSN highly desired)
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CPI required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
