Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Aiken, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week on night shift. This position requires candidates to reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Highlights:
  • Work with a diverse patient population including females of childbearing years, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring mothers, and scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions
  • Comprehensive unit activities including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op procedures, and both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Modern technology environment utilizing fetal monitors, Cerner EMR, and Fetalink documentation systems
  • Opportunity to provide care across the full continuum of labor and delivery including triage assessments
  • Contract assignment beginning fall 2026
Requirements:
  • Current, active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
  • Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CPI certifications required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility location
