Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects and effectiveness using appropriate protocols
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
- Current certification required from AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
- Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required (AHA only)
- RN License in state of TX or compact
