Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery- Oversee labor and delivery processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Provide immediate care for newborns, addressing any immediate post-birth needs
- Handle high-risk labor cases with precision and care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Utilize advanced fetal monitoring equipment efficiently
- Support both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery- NRP, BLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
- 2+ years of L&D experience, with high-risk experiences
- Proficiency in immediate newborn care
- Cerner EMR proficiency preferred
